"look with your eyes"

Me: (while hanging some picture frames on the wall)  Look, Callan.  I'm putting your picture on the wall.
C: Oh, beautiful!

Conversation #2
You know how as a mom your kid sometimes asks you to look at them ("Mommy, look at me do this...", "Mommy, look at this...", "Mommy, look at this toy...", etc.) and you say that you are looking, but you're really not.  haha  I guess I tend to do this a lot while I'm in the middle of something and Callan asks me to watch him do something.  This is the conversation we had the other day:

C: Mommy, look at this.
Me: Uh, huh.
C:  Mommy, look at this!
Me: I see, Buddy. (not really looking)
C: No, Mommy.  Look with your eyes!

I guess he called my bluff that time (and sadly he's said this to me several other times since).
