So, two quick stories about Kinsley and her thumb-sucking...
A few weeks ago Gene and I bundled all the kids up really well (it must have been a really cold day out) and strapped them into their seats in the van. We started driving down the road when we began to hear Kinsley cry in the backseat. It sounded like she was in pain.
Me: What's wrong, Kins?!
K: (through tears...sounding defeated and pitiful) I can't suck my thumb!!!!
She was trying to put her thumb in her mouth, but she couldn't because she had too many fluffy layers on! It was so funny to watch, though, because it was like watching a dog fight for a bone that is dangling just out of his reach. She kept trying to put her thumb in her mouth but couldn't reach it!
Then yesterday, again, I was putting all three kids into the van after doing a short grocery trip. I was strapping Kins in and said, "Kins, don't put your thumb into your mouth until I wipe your hands off. They are dirty from the store." Immediately she burst into tears and began screaming something. I had to get her to calm down to realize what she was saying. I had no idea what had just happened!
Me: What's wrong, Kins? Did I pinch you when I strapped you in?
K: (again, through tears, sounding defeated and pitiful) I want to suck my thumb!!!!!!

You take really nice pictures of the kids! What kind of camera do you have?
Thanks....I'm trying to learn, which means I'm just practicing and failing most of the time and sometimes I actually succeed! haha I have a Nikon D40.
Kinsley looks so old in this picture! And adorable!
