"chick a lay"

After coming out of her room more than several times during nap time....

Me: Kinsley, you are living for yourself right now because you are doing whatever you want to do instead of living for Jesus and obeying Mommy.  I said we can't go to Chick-fil-a for supper if you are not obeying Mommy and taking your nap. 

K: But...(sob)...I....(sob, sob, sob)....I want to eat at....(sob)....Chick a lay...(sobbbbbbbbbb)!!!

Me: You need to obey Mommy, then.  Let's say our bible verse.  Children...

K: ...obey your parents...(sob)....in everything.....(sob).....(sob)

Me: ...for.....

K: ...for this...(sob)...pleases da Lord....(sob).

Me: (trying not to laugh because she sounds so cute saying her verse in between sobs) Right now your attitude is not pleasing to the Lord.  Go upstairs to your bedroom and show me an attitude that is pleasing to the Lord.

K: (hugs me and asks forgiveness through sobs)

I guess I really hit her idol during this conversation!  She loves food and will do anything for it!
