Today I was reading to the kids from their children's bible. We came to the story of Noah, and I was trying to describe to them what it would have been like to be in the flood. I told them that it was more than just a little rain storm like we sometimes get but that it rained so hard it would have covered our house and even the tall mountains! I was saying that no one survived (except those in the ark) because people can't live under water. Then Kinsley replied, "But Mommy... they could have used their floaties to just float on top of the water." And Callan chimed in, "And they could have used a snorkel to breathe."
There you have it. If only the people back then would have been prepared with their floaties and snorkels, they could have survived The Great Flood. It's only common sense to a 3 & 5 year old.
