"Life is a highway..."

Hi! This is Renee's dad blogging on behalf of Renee and Gene. They wanted me to give you a quick update as they are on the road right now (with no Panera in sight to blog at). When they last left you they were on their way to go rollerblading along the Santa Monica and Venice Beach coastline. They next stopped by Gene's grandparent's house in Pasadena,CA for the night. They started their trip east by stopping for two nights at the Grand Canyon. (I'll wait and let Renee tell you about what she calls their "wet burrito" experience.) They left Arizona today and when I last talked to them they were crossing New Mexico. Gene plans on driving through the night (passing through Oklahoma City at 3:00am) and hopefully arriving in Nashville tomorrow to be able to take in the sights there before heading on the home stretch to Maryland. They asked for everyone to pray for them again for a safe journey home. They definitely felt all your prayers so far.
