This past week Gene and I got to spend some time with two dearly loved children in our lives, Noah and Katelyn. Noah is the son of our dear friends, Steve and Beth. This past year they asked Gene and me to be Noah's godparents, thus making us the proud "owners" of a Godson! We also got to visit with our only niece while in PA. At four years old, Katelyn keeps her mom and grandma on their toes! We are so blessed to have these two cuties in our life. I pray for them often, asking God to bring them to know Him and serve Him, as do both of their parents.
In the one below picture of Noah, he's playing with the Tow Mater bank that we got him for Christmas. It's never too early to teach a boy how to save his money...especially since he plans on marrying our daughter some day (well, assuming that we have a daughter some day).
I took the photos of Katelyn while coloring a picture of Bambi with her. It was a good Niece/Aunt bonding time. I was trying to stay in the lines while coloring, while she scribbled in her deer and flower, finishing within a few seconds. I remarked, "Wow, Katelyn! You are so fast. I guess I better hurry up!" and she replied, "Aunt Nay, it's not a race. Take your time." I had to laugh.....
Enjoy the following pics (and try not to be grossed out by Katelyn's chapped upper lip from her cold):
