One quick story to share about the first time I took He-man out in his ball. A couple was walking along and this guy said, "Excuse me. Excuse me sir. What is that? (he said pointing to the plastic ball rolling down the sidewalk)." I told him it was a chinchilla. He looked confused and his girlfriend was keeping her distance. They slowly walked away. He seems to be getting used to his ball and liking the exercise.

New Family Traditions
So Renee and I want to build a time for reading into our daily schedules. We figured that it'd be a good thing to do right after dinner each night. We also thought that it'd be fun to take He-man for a walk while we read. So that is the "tradition" we started tonight. We put He-man in his ball and let him roam up and down the side walk bang into things while we read a book. As I believe I stated in a previous post. My goal is to get He-man to take walks on his leash, but that may take some time, as He-man is a lil spastic sometimes. Until that day, it's walks in the ball.
