Jam Packed

Well, I don't think that Gene and I could have fit one more thing into this past weekend. May has always been the busiest month of the year for our family. In one week in May we always have: Tawn & Brian's Anniversary, my parent's Anniversary, my birthday, Mother's Day, and usually a graduation.

This Friday I left work early to drive up to PA for Gretchen's wedding rehearsal. The last clone baby got married! (When we were in Jr. High school Pam, Gretchen and I always got asked if we were sisters. We aren't....just good friends!) Gene met me at my parent's house at 10:30 that night. We collapsed into bed.

Saturday morning I woke up early to get my hair done at 8:30am for Gretchen's wedding. Then the other bridesmaids and I hung around until 4:30, when the wedding began. I got to hang out with some old high school friends at the wedding and get caught up with everyone. Gene and I went back to my parent's home from the wedding and collapsed into bed.

Sunday we woke up and went to church with my whole family (including mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, bro). We came home and prepared for a picnic for Mother's Day/Parent's 30th Anniversary/Brian's Grad School Graduation/Renee's birthday/Tawn & Brian's going away party. (We celebrated so many things this past weekend that at one point Mimi convinced my mom that it was her birthday, too! haha) Gene and I drove home to MD, and collapsed into bed. (Are you seeing a theme yet?!)

We all sadly said good-bye to Tawn and Brian as they are packing up the U-haul this week to drive to their new home in Vancouver, Canada. We are all excited to see them again, though, in August when they come back for Tawn's Baby Shower.

Anyway, you don't care about reading all this. I know you all just want some pictures! Here ya go....

Celebrating 30 Years of a Happy Marriage

We brought the dance pad home for some comic relief....here, dad offers some good laughs!

After dancing only a few times, Aaron and Gene wimp out and try for the "team" approach with their hands.
