We had a great time hanging out with our Care Group from church at my family's cabin. It gave us a little get away from the hustle and bustle of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
We were able to read about and discuss how to better determine God's will for our lives. It was good, and although not everyone got immediate answers, I believe everyone was able to see what God's desires are for our lives over all, simply to glorify Him in everything we do. The answers will come in time through many different avenues, but by living out our lives for His glory while we're waiting for answers should be our biggest ambitions as Christians.
We also had a Outdoor Relay Race with three teams and four stations.
Station 1 had one member catch a salamander in a cup. (It's harder than it sounds)
Station 2 had one member swim across the pond.
Station 3 had a member grab a cattail and sprint up the hill.
Station 4 had a member toss a corncob into a bucket.
Stay tuned for more pictures from our retreat.
