And He's back...with stories

Wow. It has been forever and a day since I have last posted hasn't it. I'd like to say I just got back from an Antarctic safari, but the truth is that I've been busy with grad school projects and school stuff. Things have been crazy, but I finish my grad classes at Grand Canyon University just before Christmas (33 credits in 11 months). Then life should settle down for a few months before "Jokull" joins us round about March 22nd.

Here are some "highlights and what not" from school this year.

1) I have two students who speak no English, one is a Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico, I'll call him Pete, and the other is a French speaker from Morocco, I'll call him Dave.

Pete is a very large boy with the most expressive facial expressions I've ever seen. Most non English speakers I've had in class are very shy but not Pete.

Dave is a very rambunctious student. He can't communicate with anyone, but he uses a lot of hand gestures and pointing.

Both Pete and Dave are very touchy feely which is odd for my other students. Dave was feeling my one boy's face during the first few days and the boy was like, "Mr. Huston please help me."

Anyway this will set up some funny stories about Pete and Dave's adventures. For some reason they have become best friends and laugh and jokes all of the time for no apparent reason.
