Happiness is...

Being a wife and mother, it's the simple things in life that bring happiness to my heart. Here are a few things that made me smile today...

--Finding an extra strawberry hiding in the bottom of my cereal bowl after I thought I'd already eaten them all (hey---I said these were "simple things" that bring me happiness)

--Hearing the CVS cashier say to me, "Wow! I've never seen this many coupons print out for a customer at one time before!" (Rachel---you're the only one who would understand that one!)

--Hearing my crazy (Tom--that was for you!) husband say, "I love McDonald's hot mustard sauce. I know that you'll be able to buy it at grocery stores in heaven." He keeps me laughing, that's for sure!

--Watching Callan smile every time I walk into the room.

--Listening to a little girl tell me today (while I was changing Callan's diaper in the bathrooms at Target), "Guess what? I tried to go poopy in the potty but I couldn't go." Her mom just smiled behind her and said, "Yep. That's right!" What more can you say when your daughter tells a stranger that!? ha ha

--Praying that Callan would sleep in until 7am this morning and then waking up and hearing him crying at 7:45am instead! Thank you, God, for those extra 45 minutes! They were greatly needed this morning!
