A Gold Medal Pie

While I'm on the subject of desserts, I thought I'd share this photo of a picture perfect cherry pie. My Mimi made it while we were in PA. It looked absolutely gorgeous, but of course Mimi had to disagree. "Oh, it's just horrible. It doesn't look that good at all." We all know that this is ALWAYS Mimi's response when we comment on her picture perfect pies. They always look like they could win gold medals. (Maybe "Grandma Pie-Making" should be the next new Olympic event!?) I'm not even a huge pie-eating person, but they taste just as good as they look!
