Some of you have commented about the picture that I put up as my new header. Isn't it awesome!! I'm allowed to say that because, well, I didn't take it. That picture (along with the ones posted below) were taken by my good friend, Beth. I'm predicting that she will be a famous photographer some day, and I'll be able to say, "I knew you when..." :) I'm so blessed to have friends with such awesome talents.
Since it's really hard for me to get a good shot of the three of us by using the timer button on the camera (as you all witnessed HERE), I asked Beth if she would be up for taking some shots of us last Saturday afternoon. God blessed us with AWESOME weather that day and a pretty cooperative 6-month-old, too. So, thanks, Beth, for being willing to...laugh with us during those "let's try something different" poses, laugh at my crazy husband who hates getting his picture taken, and laugh at my squirmy baby in order to get these great shots. You're a trooper! Oh...and be sure to thank Steve for us, too! He did a great job of watching Noah so that you could get these great shots and keeping Callan occupied while you got some shots of the hubby and me. We're grateful for your friendship!
I was going to take several days to post these, but....well...I just couldn't wait to show them to you!

(This is what we kept repeating to Gene throughout the picture shoot.
I think this IS his "natural" look. ha ha I LOVE MY HUSBAND!)

I asked my grandma to make me this special white blanket years ago before she passed away.
I wanted to save it to use for my children as a special gift from their great grandma.
Doesn't this shot have "future model" written all over it?
