Ecclesiastes says that there is a time for everything and right now it is a time to grieve the loss of Renee's brother, Aaron. There is a lot that can be said, has been said, and will be said about memories of Aaron. Just to update you. The viewing will be on Thursday from 6-8pm and the service will start at 11am Friday morning.
We are all trusting in God's perfect timing and goodness in all that He does. We already miss Aaron greatly, but we celebrate the fact that we know he is with God in heaven. We also can celebrate all of the times that we laughed together as a family with Aaron crackin' most of the jokes. God is good and we ask that you pray that God will use these tragic circumstances for His good and that many who don't know Him will come to Him over the next few days as their own mortality is brought to light.
I also just wanted to say what great role models Renee's parents, Mike and Becky, have been through all of this. They not only have always been great sources of wisdom and godliness, but now in the most extreme of trials they are the first to remind others of God's plan and His workings. I have been in awe of the way they flee to God in prayer and how they are preaching truth to themselves. Their example to me and all those they have interacted with is amazing to say the least. We would ask that you keep the whole family in your prayers this week, especially Mike and Becky, for strength and grace to say the things they want to say at Aaron's funeral on Friday.
We all thank you for the outpouring of support and prayers we've already received. We truly feel everyone's prayers. It really is true that God gives grace at the right time...not before and not after, but right when you need it.
I also thank God for the fact that Aaron was spared in the first car accident he was in about a month ago during one of the winter storms, so that we could enjoy many laughs over games and stupid videos during Christmas break with him. So, in honor of Aaron, I offer this video link to you, which he enjoyed so much and shared with us over and over again. Enjoy!
Grace and peace to ya'll, and ......."boom goes the dynamite!"
