Callan's Starfish

We have been enjoying having a community pool. At first callan didn't know what to think of the cold water (He was used to nice warm bath water). The first time he went he liked it so much that he didn't want to leave, but his lips were turning kinda purple so we decided to head home.

The only downside to going to the pool was usually I hold Callan the whole time.

A few days ago Renee and I decided that it was time to get Callan some sort of floating toy, but I insisted that it must not be girly.

We didn't find anything at Wal-mart, so we headed to Target and found a few floating sit-it-them things. There was a green turtle and a yellow starfish. I let Callan decide and he went with the starfish.

Yesterday while Mommy was tutoring Callan and I took the starfish to the pool and he enjoyed it. Daddy can now paddle behind the starfish and Callan can enjoy the ride.

When Callan wakes up we're heading back to the pool for more starfish fun! Whoo hoo!
