When I was in Pennsylvania last week, I visited Trout Run with Callan while Renee was at a friend's shower. We visited Grammy, my mom, and stopped by the Seelings farm on the way back to Renee's parents' house. There we saw real horses and cows. Callan didn't like them quite as much as he does when they're in a book. He got to pet some cats as well. His favorite farm animal was the chicken. They boy really loves his birds. They taught him how to make the buck, buck sound. Before we left Dan gave Callan two pumpkins.
We carved the big pumpkin last night. I carved out a cheesy little elephant, but when we put a candle in it and turned out the lights, Callan started pointing and making his elephant noise over and over and over again. What can I say? They boy really likes his elephants.
