Yesterday we traveled up to PA to be a part of the Welcome Home festivities for the guys who rode their bikes cross country in memory of my brother. The Ride started back in August and ended at Milton High School yesterday. Dozens of people showed up at the school to welcome the boys back home. Around 30 friends and family members also rode the final leg of the trip along with Justin and Kylar.
They left State College at 8am and arrived at Milton (65ish miles) around 3:30pm. Justin and Kylar led the bikers to the finish line...followed by my Dad, Justin's dad, Kylar's dad, Brian (my sister's husband, who was carrying Avery on the back of his bike for the last mile or so), Gene and the rest of the bikers.
Callan and I waited at the finish line with his sign "Thank U 4 Riding 4 My Uncle Aaron" (too bad he fell asleep right before the bikers got there). Hopefully I'll have some pictures from my sister to post some time later.
