Christmas, part 1

Twas the night before Christmas,
And the boy was in bed.
He had no idea,
Of the fun that lay ahead...

Then the morning of Christmas,

The fun had begun.
Daddy bought many animals,
And the boy unwrapped them all...one by one.

Next to be unwrapped,
Was a book of animals galore!
The boy could tell right away,
That this gift was not a bore.

Then it was finally time,
Hidden under a sheet was the big surprise!
A huge train table...with noises, too.
The boy couldn't believe his eyes!

Another favorite toy,
Was a cute little doctor's kit.
His personalized backpack and balloon,
Were also a big hit.

And what would Christmas be,

Without a Christmas kiss?
A visit from Hannah,
Put the boy in heavenly bliss.

But the best Christmas gift this year,
Wasn't found under the tree.
She came December 13th,
Straight from Mommy's tummy!
