red, white and blue...and a parade, too!

On Monday we walked to a parade that was held two streets away from us. We met up with our good friends, Kristie, Danny & their son, Noah. I think Callan had the best time out of all of us. The parade started out with horses trotting down the street. What could be better than live animals just a few feet away from the Animal-lover himself! Of course the rest of the parade he kept saying, "More neighs? More neighs?"

Then came the fire trucks, another thing the boy loves these days. Then they started throwing candy at him....more love. Then someone handed out bouncy balls...more love. Then there was music and he saw one of his neighbor friends in the parade...more love. The kid loves his friends!

Kinsley immediately tore the flag right off the stick and chewed on it.
She'll grab anything that gets in her path these days!
