Because of Callan's new obsession with playing Hungry, Hungry Hippos, we've decided that this week is Hippo Week. Callan wakes up asking, "Hippos still sleeping?" as he points to the game sitting well out of reach above the entertainment center (we tell him that the hippos are sleeping in the game box just to get a break from the constant sound of the hippos chomping on the marbles).
We practiced writing the letter "H" (he doesn't quite grasp the "down, down, across" motion yet). I also found this intriguing video on You Tube of a hippo that lives in a family's house as their pet! It's well worth the time to watch this crazy hippo in action.

That video is insane! Hope your little 2 year old animal lover doesn't think this is normal. That is one understanding wife!!
I was thinking of getting that game for Hannah but now that I know that you have it, we will just
come over and play it. We have to play Chutes and Ladders and Candyland ALL the time at our house!
