During our second week of preschool we focused on the letter T. There were lots of things to talk about during T week! Here are some activities we did:
--various Transportation activities that I had from my 1st grade student teaching days! (making patterns using forms of transportation, coloring sheets, making a Transportation Dictionary, and learning the three kinds of transportation...land, air & water)
--making a pretend license
--reading his 2nd book: The Turtles
--reading and learning about tigers, toucans, turtles, and tiger sharks
--gluing T words into our ABC book
--finding Texas and Tennessee on a map and writing a letter to Callan's friend who lives in Tennessee (learning how to address an envelope and sign a letter)
--drawing a turtle and learning a turtle song
