2011: Outnumbered

Today I got something really exciting in the mail!  Our 2011 Photobook.  I know.  2011.  I'm kind of behind, but I'm determined to get caught up.  I decided to give Shutterfly a try this time.  I've used Picaboo and Blurb in the past.  I was actually surprised at how much more I liked this year's book compared to other years.  It turned out well (quality-wise).  I got a good deal on it, too.  Their photobooks were already on sale to begin with, then I got a coupon in my email for another % off, and I had a code for free shipping.

Here's the breakdown:  a 20 page 8x8 book with a hard photo cover was $20.99.  I added 51 additional pages (my book = 71 pages total) which was $35.70.  I also used what was called a "Storytelling Style" which was $4.99 extra.  Shipping was supposed to be $7.99 but I had a coupon for free shipping, and an extra discount that amounted to --$26.50 with the special Father's Day promotional code.  The final price of my 71 page book was only $45.76...which equals out to be $.64/page.

Here's a sneak peak at some of my favorite pages from 2011: Outnumbered (the year we went from 2 kids to 3 kids)...

*I snapped these on my phone so the quality isn't great, but you get the idea.

(Gene's cousin and his wife gave us these great shirts when they found out we were pregnant with #3.  The front cover is Gene wearing his shirt, and the back cover is me wearing mine.)

(we gave the above letter to our parents for Christmas 2010 to
announce the news that we were pregnant with child #3)
