I'm so glad that moments like these are balanced out with moments like these:
me: Callan, please clean up all of your puzzle pieces in your room while Mommy makes her bed in her room.
C: Ok, Mommy.
me: (glad that he didn't throw a fit and listened the first time I gave him the command)
C: (shows up in my room moments later with his baggie of puzzle pieces) Mommy, please close my bag for me.
me: Sure, Buddy! (ziplocked the baggie)
C: Thank you, Mommy! (gives me a big kiss and runs away)
Precious.
