I saw this post on my friend's blog the other day, which inspired me to do the car painting with my kids, too. They loved it! Some finger paints, a large piece of blank newspaper print, some toy cars.....and the kids went to town!
Then the next day I happened to read about another painting idea...painting in bags! The best part about it is it's not messy at all. I squirted some finger paints into a freezer baggie, gave the kids some cars and other blocks to "draw" with, and they had a great time mushing the colors together in the baggie. Callan liked "writing" his name with the wooden block.

We've done the bag painting too. I love non messy painting! haha but it is fun to make a mess every once in a while. If you like non messy painting you should get some of those do-a-dot paints -like bingo markers.
