My sister and I surprised my mom for her birthday. We both showed up at her house Friday night and announced that we were taking her out Saturday for pedicures, lunch and shopping. We were able to sneak in dinner, too, at Cracker Barrel. It's rare that the three of us get a chance to be together without kids, so that was the best part of the day!
