The Oropezas

Last night Gene and I got the privilege of attending Kat Myers and Hector Oropeza's beautiful outdoor wedding! This was a special wedding because for the past year and a half, Kat and Hector have been a part of The Huston Care Group that Gene and I lead. We got to watch them proceed from Friendship to Courtship to Engagement and now on to Marriage! They have been personal friends of both of ours for many years. We've all been in care group together, even before Gene and I started leading one! We've watched them grow in godliness and strive for purity in their relationship. They sought biblical counsel from their friends and pastor on how to put God first in their relationship, and it's been a joy for Gene and I to be a part of this circle of friends. We are happy that these two have finally become one, and by the looks on their faces, I think they are, too. Happy Honeymoon, you two!
