In order to better serve you on Mondays we'd like to gear our blog to you, because as far as recipes, well if we share it with you, then that means we are already using that particular menu item.
So let us know. Renee is more of a chicken girl and I am definitely a beef boy. (Seriously I could just eat hamburgers EVERY day and be happy... even happier if there's bacon.)
So on this Menu Monday we'll give you a "neutral" recipe so that everyone can be happy.
Hawaiian Pork Chops
1) 4 (1/2 inch thick) pork shops
2) 1 (8 oz can pineapple slices in own juice
3) 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
4) 1/2 tsp ground Nutmeg
Drain and reserve juice from canned pineapple. Place pork chops in baking dish that is lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Mix 3 Tbsp of the reserved pineapple juice with brown sugar and nutmeg. Spoon half of the mixture over the prok chops. Top with pineapple slices and spoon remaining mixture over pineapple. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer, spoon sauce over pork chops occassionally.
Enjoy this recipe tonight! It's quick, good, and easy.
