Well, as everyone tells us, Gene and I are in the season where a wedding invitation seems to show up in our mailbox about once or twice a month. It's a fun season. One where we get to catch up with different friends and family at each wedding we attend. August and September were busy "wedding months" for us. We got invited to four weddings, which kept us hopping around to different towns in MD and PA. It was a lot of fun, though, because at each of those weddings we got to catch-up with different circles of friends. At one we got to visit with dear church friends who we serve beside in our church each week. At another wedding we got to see my mom & dad, my sister, Tawnee & her husband, Brian (pictured at left with us), and my "fake" aunt and uncle at a long time friend of the family wedding. Another September wedding gave me a chance to catch up with my college roommates and college friends who I usually only get to see when one of us gets married! Those weddings are usually more fun for me than Gene....as he sits there staring at my college roomies and I laughing hysterically at inside jokes we've had since college. (Poor Gene!) Anyway, here are some photos that we snapped at each of the weddings. Enjoy!
My adorably cute parents!
This are the newlyweds, Curtis and Amy Grenoble. Curt's family and mine have been friends long before we were even born! I refer to him as my "fake cousin" because his family has been like family to ours for more than 25 years now! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Grenoble!
Here's the college crew! The girl all the way on the left is Ali, my roommate all four years of college. The third girl from the right (beside me), Mary Lou, was also a roomie of mine during college when 6 of us lived in a townhouse together! All of the other girls lived close by in apartments and we all attended Bloomsburg University's Christian Fellowship together.
Last but not least are Kari and Tim. Kari was part of our college crew, too. She made a beautiful bride! We all enjoyed her gorgeous fall wedding! Congratulations you two!
