Steve and I dawning
27 total pounds of pumpkin!
Yesterday my good friend Steve, his son Noah, and I decided it'd be a good time to go to a football game. We wanted to throw a twist on our outing, so we decided to venture to a local college that we knew nothing about, and support their team.
We chose to cheer on the Gettysburg Bullets!! So we decided to wear our colors: blue and orange and head off for the game. We even made sure that Noah dressed for the day's festivities. Steve and I thought it'd be fun and funny to be more extreme so we decided to sport pumpkin helmets. Steve's eyes were bigger than our heads, so they were slightly little super sized, but it helped propel the Bullets to victory. The only problem with making a super sized pumpkin helmet was the fact that it weighed 16lbs! (Seriously, we weighed them.) After awhile it did start to crush my spine, so I only wore it during the most crucial times in the game. I also wanted to be considerate of the

shorter woman sitting behind me. The only thing worse than sitting behind a tall person or woman with big hair, is sitting behind a guy with a giant pumpkin on his head!!!
When we were walking into the game, I wore my helmet proudly and carried Steve's since he had Noah. I couldn't hear very well because my earholes were too small. As I was carefully steering my melon dome through the masses, Steve hit me on my gargantous gourd to let me know that the team's photographer wanted to take a picture. He yelled, "Hey Pumpkin Head, smile!" So I joyfully did so. The hippopotamic helmet also got me a Gettysburg 175th Anniversary towel thrown my way.

The Bullets did beat Ursinus 27 - 18, so it was a great game. Noah especially liked the walk around campus at half time, and we think he may just wanna be a high pole vaulter!
Steve and I had a lot of fun and have a "secret project" that we're working on, to unveil sometime in the future to you, our loyal viewers.
Go Bullets!!!
