So Renee and I did our Date night on Monday because we had off for Yom Kippur. We slept in until 11am, which in and of itself was awesome because it's such a rarity. Then we drove to Frederick to go to Olive Garden. Why in the world would we drive all the way to Frederick for lunch? Well if you've seen the commercials they have an all you can eat soup and salad lunch specail for $5 and an all you eat pasta bowl for $8. ( I think you know which Renee chose and which I
chose)
We both left full and then went to Butler's Orchard in Germantown where we "picked" apples and pears. Actually they had picked them off the trees and we simply picked them up off the table, but we could have picked them if we wanted to.
* Note - The pics below have been simulated "off site" because we forgot our camera for the actual event.
It was a very fun day, and we plan on going back to Butler's Orchard to do the hay ride and pumpkin picking some time, so be looking for that.
Phil is back in action cuz everyone knows
groundhogs love apples

We almost hit Phil's cousin two days ago! But, thanks to God's sovereignty and Steve's quick-thinking driving skills, we averted the near-death experience. I think it was Uncle Jim Bob.
