Now the grande finale: The livingroom, dining room, and the kids' play room. Here you can see one of Mom's favorite additions: The "FAMILY" shelf and the collages. We also got her a DVD rack and organized her acquired trinkets.
We added another collage and a few more wildlife pictures above the couch.
Renee has her black belt in shelf usage, and Mom really enjoyed them. They added more places to put her collections of black bears. Mom did switch the two end bears on the bottom shelf when she came home, thus adding a "finishing touch."
Here we have family potraits, a pushpin board for notes, and most importantly (to Mom anyway) is a giant dry erase marker board to put notes to people dropping by.
Some nice blue curtains to finish off the dining room.
This was Tonya's old room, now Katelyn's room, and in the future the "grandkid" room. It comes complete tire swing that Dan Seeling and I had added four years ago for Tonya's 16th birthday present. Now everything matches and is ready to go.
Katelyn is venturing into the brave new world at Grandma's house, of organization complete with shelves and a toy box for tidy storage. Doesn't she look happy and content?

Fantastic work, you two! Gene, way to lead the surrounding (and traveling?) community in this endeavor and enlisting the help of such able-bodied people! And, bravo, of course, for marrying Renee. :)
Renee, you're well on your way to your own decorating and organizing business! Want to start an enterprise together? Ha! You did an excellent job.
We really wish we could have joined you. Nevertheless, God provided people. Both of you have truly done a great job in showing honor to Gene's mom -- what a pleasing thing to the Lord!
