The Long Awaited After Shots

The upstairs bathroom now has matching curtains and towels and Karen and Renee even found "an adorable towel rack" for it.

Oh, they also found a matching shag rug, soap dispensers, and a cute wicker basket for the back of the toilet.

Welcome to the new basement! The terrible teal has been replaced with a darker pine green. There are pictures that are framed going down the stairs from a Christian calendar. Joey and his dad restained Mom's stairs, giving them a newer look.

In the picture below shows the one mural which stayed because Mom has always been proud of my artwork. Also look carefully, because above the door in the basement is Mom's first and only buck. She was quite proud of it, so we used it in the outdoorsy themed basement.

We bought an extra black card table with chairs for when the boys hang out in the basement. You can also see some more wildlife pictures of a black bear, loon, and red fox.

Mom loves her couch swing. Most people have them outside, but she has two of them in her basement, which again adds to the outdoor feel. I also unearthed that huge painting from the bowels of the attic. One of the best features of this shot is the storage shelves we bought for Mom to store all of her Sams Club goodies on. As you can see she has easily filled three shelves with cans of this and that, mostly spaghetti sauce and green beans.

As ya'll know, this whole project was an early 50th Birthday present! Her sisters have always called Mom, "Cissy". I have know idea why, but that explains the cake.
