Canada Tid Bits

We visited Toronto last Saturday night and took the long way into the city from our hotel. It was a nice city, very clean, and not very crowded. The first night we parked close to Rogers' Stadium, which is home of the Blue Jays and walked around. We would later find out the Yonge Street is where most of the shops and restaurants were located. A little FYI for you future Torontoian travelers.

The CN Tower is the tallest building in the world, so we had to go investigate it for ourselves. They have a glass floor section where you can look straight down. Even though the glass can hold over 4 hippos, it still made Renee a little jittery.

We ate Lunch on Sunday in the cafe in the CN Tower with a lovely view of Lake Ontario before heading back to America.

Here a few overlooked tid bits from previous posts:

A few miles down river from Niagara Falls is the world's largest whirlpool. Daredevils also love to try to cross it. They also love to illegally go down the Niagara River because of its crazy rapids.
This is me being one with my inner totem pole.
This lage flower clock has hands that weigh over 500 pounds each! They change the floral pattern every year.

Here's Renee with here giant collector's spoon. Sadly she couldn't bring it home to add to her collection.
