Pie Contest

So here's the deal. Del and I teach fourth grade at the same school. In order to get our kids to read more books, we have a challenge going between our classes. Which ever class reads the most books gets to throw whip cream pies at their teacher. This seems to be a real motivator. In two weeks my class has read and passed AR tests on the computer on 92 books. They really want to cover my beautiful facial features in creamy whipped topping. The only way that I can "save face" is to hope Del's class reads more books. There's one stipulation we added. IF both classes combined read over 600 books, then BOTH classes get to throw the pies.
