Sleep. What a beautiful and priceless gift. As that husband, sleeping has entered many twists and turns throughout pregnancy.
The first thing to change was add a body pillow on the far side of our bed. This didn't alter sleeping much. Renee simply moved closer which is always a good thing.
The second thing was the little bellow pillow which she places under her stomach for support between us. Growing up I had a dog and cat which slept with me so I always think I'm crushing something when I roll over on that little pillow.
The third thing was the tossing and frequency of bathroom runs. My mind is set on "labor mode" so I'm always half wondering "Is it time?"
The last thing is the plastic bed cover. Although I was potty trained before age two, I still remember the plastic bed cover. The sheets sort of slide and bunch awkwardly and all night long it sounds like someone is rolling up a plastic bag.
A question to any husbands out there, "Are there any other "things" I should know about the last month of sleeping with a pregnant wife?" This is my first time and I'm trying to keep up.
