4 Months Old!

LENGTH = 25.5 in
(75th percentile for length! No wonder he's wearing some size 6 month clothes!)

My little guy is 4 months old today already! Time does go by quickly. I went to a wedding tonight where the pastor was marrying off his son. He mentioned that he had been praying for his son's bride ever since he was little, and now the time had finally come! Even before Callan was born I started praying for his future spouse. It's never too early to start praying!

This past month has been quite eventful for our little man. "Mr. McSmiley" (as we like to call him) giggles all the time and never quits smiling. We've been blessed with a happy and content baby! He has already learned how to roll over and loves sleeping on his stomach. He laughs at himself in the mirror and will even sit still long enough for me to read him a book (a tradition we started this week before nap times). He'll stare mesmerized at a TV for as long as you'll let him (which is why I've been on a TV strike lately). He can also sit up in his bumbo seat now. He's moving around already...when I left him strapped in to his swing the other day I found him laying in it sideways when I came back. I predict he'll be crawling and walking in just a few months. He also loves putting his feet in his mouth. It's quite entertaining!

Maybe month #4 will be the best month yet. Today he went down easily for every nap (all 4 of them!) and slept at least two hours each time. That must have been his gift to me because month #3 was a little hairy.
