Well as we sit here looking out our window, watching the snow start to pile up, Callan is excited about the snow. We went out and shoveled off the driveway a little while ago and it should be fun going out tomorrow when we shovel 2 - 3 FEET.
The first snowfall this year Callan screamed when I put his snowsuit on, but now he eagerly sits down letting me get him ready. He repeats "Boots, boots, boots" a hundred times while I slide his coat and gloves on.
Anyway, we went out Wednesday after his nap and played in the snow. It was the perfect packing snow, so I asked him what he wanted to build. He looked at me and replied "Whale", so that's what we did. It was one time I was glad he didn't say buffalo cuz that would have been tougher.
My next task to take on is trying to make a giant alligator on my school's soccer field Sunday afternoon if it's packing snow. I'm thinking an anatomically accurate Gator and I invited my class to come help. We'll see how it goes. It may be overly ambitious, but a six foot whale out of 6inches = a 24 foot gator out of 20inches. I love my logic.

Now that is impressive. I can't wait to see the gator!
Gene, you should be in your glory this weekend. With 2ft of snow, the possibilities are endless. Great whale!
Awesome! So creative.
