time tunnel

Callan loves to watch Dinosaur Train on PBS. He asks to watch it a million times a day. We only let him watch an episode or two a day, but he remembers EVERYTHING he hears on the show. He can recite dinosaur names and other dinosaur vocabulary. It really is a great educational show. Gene even enjoys watching it, too. During each episode the Pteranodon family hops on the dinosaur train, and the conductor takes them through the "time tunnel" where they travel through time to various dinosaur time periods (Jurassic, Triassic, etc.).

Well, last week we went to Knoebels amusement park in PA. Callan was very excited to ride the train through the woods (and into a tunnel, too!) with Grandpa & Nana. I didn't go on the train because I was waiting with Kinsley and the stroller. When Callan got off I asked him if he had a good ride. He said, "Yeah! Time tunnel!" I guess he thinks all tunnels are time tunnels now. haha

It WAS a time tunnel! I felt as if I was back in time, experiencing the pleasure of seeing my son (grandson) delight in a wonderful Klinger family tradition.... "All aboard!"
