He was born at 12:31am (Renee only had to push for about 25 minutes).
Finn weighs in at 7lbs 13oz and measures 21 1/2inches long.
Where did we get the name you might ask? Fintan is an Irish name meaning "fair little one" and we will probably be calling him Finn for short.
Michael is a double tribute. It's Renee's dad's name, but it was also her brother Aaron's middle name, so we wanted to honor both her dad and Aaron by using Michael.
Renee and Fintan are presently eating and getting ready for bed after a long day.
Fintan can't wait to meet his brother and sister tomorrow. Be sure to stay tuned to the blog for pictures (which I'll probably post tomorrow after the kids visit).
