i week

For "i" week we...

--read about iguanas and insects and a book on "icky things"

--watched a youtube video on how to make an igloo

--made an ice cream cone using three circles and a triangle

--memorized Philippians 4:13

--added another site word to our wall: "can"

--found all the "I" states on the map

--made patterns using fall objects

--read an ABC Superhero book

He asked me if he could get this pointer at the Dollar Store so he could use it each day when we go over the date and sing the Days of the Week song.

 

We practiced making several patterns using these fall objects, and then he chose this AABC pattern himself to glue on to the paper.

This is the bible craft that was included in his lesson for this week that goes with his bible verse.  It's a strong man using weights.  The little man underneath was the model that you were supposed to use to know how to glue the man together, but Callan wanted to glue the little man on his paper, too, because he said it was Fintan.
