Yesterday on the news the weatherman said, "Don't go outside unless you absolutely have to today! It's going to be a scorcher!" So what did the Huston trio do as soon as Gene got home from summer school? Head on outside in the 100+ degree heat, of course! We traveled to Wheaton to go to Brookside Gardens so that I could practice my photography. We practically had the place all to ourselves, so it was a great day to get some great shots (at least the ones that you could take in the shade). All 3 of us were drenched in sweat by the end of the afternoon, but we had fun!
