Tonya's Baby Shower

My sister-in-law, Bea, and I threw a baby shower for my other sister-in-law, Tonya. Tonya is due a few days before Christmas with a baby boy! Here are some pictures of her shower.

I have lots of nicknames for my favorite high school friend and college roommate who is due to have her first baby this summer. Here are some pictures from her baby shower this weekend. Love you lots, Ali, and am praying for a quick and safe delivery for you and Baby Girl Snyder!


Callan's newest buddy, Caden. He's Kristin's son...a friend of mine from elementary school all the way up through college. They both slept through the whole shower!

A Baby Frenzy

Every time I opened my email inbox the past month, there always seemed to be a new baby announcement waiting for me to read. Over the span of one month (October 12-November 8), I've had 7 friends give birth. That's right....7 friends, 8 babies (yep, twins, too!). I thought it might be fun to put all their pictures up, mainly so that I can always remember this unique month, and so that I can someday show Baby Huston all of his/her friends that were born a few months before he/she was.

Babies, Babies, and MORE Babies...

No, we're not pregnant, but there are plenty of other friends and family members who are! At the top of the list is my little sister!!!!! Tawnee is about 12 weeks along now and due in October. It came as a big surprise to the family, but we are very excited! Of course every time I see her I ask if she's got a belly started yet. Her reply is still, "Renee, I'm still trying to grow into my regular size pants!" That's my sister for ya! As skinny as a stick! My fear is that I'll become pregnant at the end of her pregnancy and have a bigger tummy at that time than she will at 9 months!

I also just found out that my junior high school best friend, Pamela, is also about 12 weeks pregnant, too! Another friend since birth, Alicia, is due the day before my birthday, May 12th. Off the top of my head I can also think of 8 other dear friends who are also pregnant or trying.

'Tis the season! I'm quickly moving out of the bridal shower stage and into the baby showers. I guess most of my friends are trading in their bridal shower lingerie for their baby shower burp cloths!
