This week has been rough with me working 12+ hour days to wrap things up at school for the last time. Gene's been SUPER helpful around the house making dinner and doing laundry for us this week. Consequently, he now has a cold and we both have zero energy. We made it, though! I only have one more day of work left, but with the forecast calling for ice tonight, it looks like today might have been my last day.

Oh my!!
Pictures are worth a thousands words, right? Well, this picture explains why I can't be a full time teacher and a full time mother (and wife) at the same time. Our house would look like this all the time...
Clean laundry that hasn't made it to the closet yet. Baby gifts from my school baby shower. Dirty plates from dinner. And one tired (but cute) and worn out husband. And this is all BEFORE the baby! I don't know how mothers do it who work full time! I can't even take care of my husband let alone a baby, too! Gene just said to me, "It already looks like we have four children, but it's just us two!"

congrats on finishing up "school"! I hope you enjoy this last bit of nesting [and putting laundry away?] before the little one comes. :-)
PS--I did notice the socks appear to be all matched up. That's far ahead of what it looks like when we have laundry piles. :-)
Yippy! Today is your last day of work! Now you can be a full-time wife and mother... your heart's desire. Congratulations! Now you can make your home a home for THREE!
Your house kind of resembles mine! HAHA - well at least our bedroom which I feel I am always cleaning! (That is where our clean laundry lays! until its put into the closet.
Congrats on your last day of work! Now just take time to do some relaxing because before long.....you probably won't be!
love ya
