Updates on Work: Feel Like Moses

Thank you fo all of you who were praying for me at my meeting yesterday. It went...okay, but I don't really think it changed anything.

This year feels a lot like when the Israelites were stuck in Egypt and Moses kept talking to Pharaoh. Every time Moses would talk with Pharaoh, there'd seem to be prgress, but ultimately things would get worse all because God had a plan. There was one time Moses talked to Pharaoh about the workload of the people and Pharaoh made them make bricks without supplying them straw, which they grumbled about. This is how I, and a majority of the staff feel this year.

We were able to say our piece, but in the end we're expected to "stop whining and do it". So my prayer is exactly how much of an effort I make to keep up with the overwhelming to-do-list, and where exactly I draw a line and say, "Sorry this is time for my family."

I'm finding it hard to be the go between because there are so many legitimate concerns, but our principals don't want to take time to deal with them. So if here is a Rock and there is a Hard Place, then you'll find me right in the middle.

Thankfully, though the Hard Place (work) is real, so is the Rock who is Jesus whom I CAN turn to even when I don't know what to do next. Yay!

Any way,

Thanks again for your prayers with this. Keep 'em up. I need them.

You are one of the strongest men I know mentally and spiritually. I am so proud of you for achieving so much and keeping it all together through your faith in GOD. I wish I was half as strong as you are. I am so glad that you are my big brother and look up to you. I love you bro!
