New School, New Year

Well it's about time to start a new year, in a new school. It's definitely been a great experience so far starting a school from the ground up.

There's nothing quite like having boxes everywhere and not quite know what you will and won't have during the first part of school.

Everything is so shiny and new and the technology available now is ridiculous. We have an automatic letter and shape puncher outer, sticker maker, poster maker where you put a paper in of something, even a doodle, and it makes a giant poster. All this with just a push of a button. Our white board is interactive and the kids can push a button at their seat to vote on a question and an insta-graph pops up.

I don't know how, but I'm just waiting for the automatic teacher in a box.

Although I will miss working in a poorer, needier area and the people I have been friends with for 6 years, I am looking forward to my new year and the freedom and flexibility, and over all happiness we have there.

What will I miss most being at my school, time spent with Renee and Callan and that all day family time. Although it only lasted two months it was my first "break" in awhile.

Well it's back to the grind for me. Hooray!
