I love listening to the simplicity and sincerity of a 2-year-old's prayer. This morning Callan got up right as Gene and I were sitting down together to pray. We had him join us, and here is what he prayed...
"Dear Jesus thank you for Mama, Daddy, Baby, octopus, shark, dinosaur, milk, Hannah, Nana, Grandpa, Tucker, walk, leash (clarification: he loves to take Tucker for a walk on his leash at Nana & Grandpa's house)."
Daddy also added, "And please help Callan to obey Mommy today and help Mommy to be patient with Callan when he doesn't obey."
Amen to that!

I say a patience prayer quite often during the day...gotta love our 2-year-olds!
