--This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long.
--He weighs about 3.3 pounds (try carrying four navel oranges) and is heading into a growth spurt.
--He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin.
--He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy.
Thoughts from Mommy:
--I guess our baby must be REALLY healthy because I think he/she is participating in some gymnastics events in my stomach! Very active lately!
--At about 30 weeks I began to moan and groan when getting in and out of bed. It's such a hurtle crawling over a body pillow plus other pillows that I might have stuffed under my belly for comfort. I've tried getting out of bed and back in without getting Gene awake, but that will never happen. My arms seem to fall asleep during the night when I lay on one side too long. Sometimes Gene will wake up and I'll be laying there with my arms extended up into the air, shaking them to get the blood flowing again. haha As much as Gene wants to understand, he never will. Such memories.......

Haha... I always wake Jeremy up when I get out of bed, too. By the time I throw off the covers and disentangle myself from all of the pillows propped under me and hurdle myself out of bed, he is sitting up going, 'What? What's wrong??' And unfortunately, it happens multiple times each night. :o)
